What are your capacity limits for events?

Our campground can accommodate up to 100 guests. Our recommendations are as follows: Package 1 (Half-Day Gathering) is ideal for up to 50 guests, Package 2 (Full-Day Celebration) for up to 80 guests, and Package 3 (Exclusive Campground Buyout) for larger gatherings of up to 100 guests.
What are your standard event rental hours?

Our half-day event rental hours typically run from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM Central Time. Overnight packages include access to the cabin/RV site, with setup available as early as 10 AM and cabin check-ins starting as early as 2 PM. Refer to your package for details. Late check-outs are also available.
Can we bring our own food and drinks?

Yes, you're welcome to bring your own food and non-alcoholic beverages. Alcohol consumption is permitted responsibly for private events.
Do you provide catering or equipment?

We primarily offer venue and accommodation packages. However, we do have partners who can offer a range of services, including caterers, decorators, officiants, photographers, and hair and makeup artists. Just let us know what you need, and we will do our best to find it!
What is your cancellation policy for events?

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your reservation. Guests may cancel their reservation without penalty within 24 hours of the booking time for a full refund of their deposit. After this 24-hour window, the 50% deposit becomes non-refundable.

Full payment is due at least 30 days before your event date and becomes non-refundable within 7 days of your event date.

In the event of a cancellation, the entire security or damage deposit will be refunded.
What happens if it rains?

Our cabins offer covered shelter. For an outdoor ceremony or event, we recommend that guests procure or rent an appropriately sized tent for inclement weather.
Are pets allowed at events?

Well-behaved, leashed pets are welcome, and owners are required to clean up after their pets. Pets are only permitted in Cabins 4, 5, and 6 (Papa Bear Cabin). No pets in cabins 1, 2, and 3.
Is an officiant provided for weddings/vow renewals?

No, you'll need to arrange for your own officiant. We're happy to provide local recommendations.
What about music at events?

Music is welcome at the venue and within your designated rental space. We kindly request that you maintain a respectful volume level, considering the needs of other campground guests and our natural environment.

We're the closest campground to Pickett State Forest's off-roading and horseback trails. Guests can also enjoy hiking, boating, swimming, fishing, and stargazing in Pickett CCC Memorial State Park, Pogue Creek Canyon, and Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area.
